National Bowling Champion Timmy Tan Brings Nation Bowl to The Mines


The Mines is set to elevate its position as one of the Klang Valley's premier lifestyle destinations with the signing of Nation Bowl, a tenpin bowling centre founded by Malaysian national bowling champion Timmy Tan Chye Chern. Officially announced during a signing ceremony held on 28 July 2026. Scheduled to open in December 2026, Nation Bowl will occupy more than 27,000 square feet at Level 4, North Court. The venue will feature 28 tournament-sized bowling lanes including a bowling academy, café and retail spaces.


Timmy Tan, acknowledged as one of Malaysia's top bowlers with over 14 years of international representation was named Asia's No. 1 ranked bowler in 2019. He received the 2019 Asia Player of the Year award and has secured multiple gold medals at the Asian Championships and SEA Games along with three silver medals at the Asian Games and won the 2025 IBF World Cup Championship title.

Recently, The Mines has broadened its array of attractions such as Jaya Grocer, Mr. D.I.Y Plus, Game On Theme Park, Kin+Zo Land, and Oxygym Fitness.
