The OFFLINE 16 mental wellness movement has experienced significant regional expansion since its inception in 2024, engaging 1,905 participants across Malaysia and Singapore. Jointly organized by Australian-owned supplement brand VitaHealth and community builder Tropicana Corporation Berhad the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) driven initiative serves to address rising public challenges such as digital dependency, cyberbullying, online scams and broader mental health issues.

The movement recently hosted its latest flagship event, OFFLINE 16: Dance & Busking Festival at the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort in Petaling Jaya. The eight-hour initiative drew more than 260 participants who engaged in activities designed to cultivate physical presence and social interaction. Supported by main retail partner Watsons, along with the Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA), Team Namja, Malaysian Buskers, Precious Plastic Malaysia, Sekret Studio, Ceradan, Dermally, Herbs of Gold, HealthLand Family Wellness Centre, T Privilege, Tropicana Golf & Country Resort, Tropicana Foundation, D Swim Academy and Dododots.  The festival includes music and dance to foster interaction and human connection. Scheduled programs include structured dance workshops, Zumba, Piloxing, street performances and environmental upcycling workshop, while the venue features dedicated physical wellness zones and professional mental wellness hubs that provide educational materials and health assessments.

The campaign seeks to support national initiatives by promoting accessible preventive healthcare frameworks, encouraging people to step away from digital spaces and participate in community-based activities. So far, the movement has amassed 54 cumulative offline hours through ten unique themed events and has been officially recognized in the Malaysia Book of Records.

Corporate executives highlighted the operational alignment between the mental health campaign and long-term corporate sustainability goals. Dr. KS Beh, Chief Executive Officer of Vita Life Sciences for Malaysia and Singapore and the founder of the initiative stated that the movement has transitioned from a basic digital detox challenge into a core component of the company's ESG strategy, prioritizing modern community self-care and long-term habit cultivation. Serena Lim, Programme Director of the Tropicana Foundation affirmed that the collaboration supports the property group's foundational ESG pillars of People, Planet and Partnership. She noted that the group's corporate objective extends beyond traditional property development to encompass the establishment of sustainable, connected, and socially resilient communities. Following the conclusion of the Selangor festival, the organizers confirmed plans to expand the next phase of the campaign to Penang to broaden its regional scope.
