Stingless Bee Factor Launches First Certified Stingless Bee Honey

Stingless Bee Factor Pte. Ltd. (SBF) has launched "The Future of Honey 2026" in Kuala Lumpur during which the inaugural international certification framework for Stingless Bee Honey was introduced. This significant achievement also emphasized critical scientific research, establishing a foundation for the future of this honey as a premium product.

The event showcased research from Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore, confirming that SBH Certified Stingless Bee Honey has a Low Glycaemic Index (Low GI). Additional studies revealed the honey's natural antibacterial and antioxidant properties contributing to health and nutrition. The event featured an immersive experience and presentations by international experts on the future of Stingless Bee Honey, covering topics such as global standards and the significance of scientific validation.
For almost twenty years, founder Javier Lau has worked closely with scientists to create quality frameworks that boost the reputation of honey as a dependable global product, introducing a new certification framework and reinforcing Malaysia's position as a global hub for honey. The SBF's BeeAble Project educates young individuals with special needs in the practice of stingless bee beekeeping, offering practical skills and sustainable income opportunities. The launch of the world's first SBH Certified Stingless Bee Honey, which attracted nearly 700 attendees, was highlighted by FERA Certification and Low GI validation.
