DoubleTree by Hilton Launches "The Art of Lamb" at Makan Kitchen
DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur has officially launched The Art of Lamb, an exclusive weekend dinner buffet available at Makan Kitchen from 2 October through 28 November 2026. Available every Friday and Saturday from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM, the dining experience centers on whole-lamb gastronomy, utilizing diverse culinary techniques to showcase halal Australian lamb through a sustainable zero-waste approach.
The curated menu combines regional traditions and contemporary techniques across Malaysian, Middle Eastern, Indian and Chinese flavors. Featured selections include Slow-Roasted Australian Lamb Leg with Gremolata and Fig, Malaysian Sup Kambing Berempah, Australian Lamb Neck Assam Pedas, Malay Curry Lamb Hind Shank, Signature Lamb Shoulder Briyani, Lamb Trunk Rogan Josh and Cantonese Slow-Braised Lamb Ribs. A modern cold preparation featuring Australian Lamb Striploin paired with pomelo, torch ginger, mint and a tamarind palm sugar dressing is also introduced.
The experience incorporates an interactive "Know Your Cuts" educational display, allowing guests to explore butchery techniques and ideal preparation methods for various cuts. Diners may also participate in the "Know Your Lamb" contest for an opportunity to win DoubleTree by Hilton’s signature cookie tin. For family diners, the restaurant provides a dedicated Kids’ Corner equipped with arcade games, a racing simulator and a Nintendo Switch.
The Art of Lamb weekend dinner buffet is priced at RM168 nett per adult and RM84 nett per child. Guests can take advantage of an ongoing "Buy 4, Free 1" promotion and applicable Hilton Honors member discounts apply throughout the promotion period.
