Xiaomi Introduces Its Latest Home Appliances, Wearables and the REDMI Note 17 Series
Xiaomi Malaysia officially expanded its product ecosystem with the launch of its latest smart home appliances, wearables and smartphones.
The latest smartphone lineup introduces the REDMI Note 17 Series, comprising of the base REDMI Note 17, REDMI Note 17 5G, REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G, and the flagship REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G. The Pro Max variant features a 10,000mAh battery with 100W HyperCharge, while both Pro models feature TÜV SÜD 5-star Titan Quality Certification with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. The base models feature 7,700mAh batteries and IP65 ratings.
Alongside the smartphones, Xiaomi introduced the REDMI Watch 6 Active, REDMI Watch 6 Lite, and a new Mist Blue color variant for the REDMI Headphones Neo featuring 42dB Active Noise Cancellation. Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 Active, featuring a 1.47-inch display, 50 sports modes, all-day health tracking, and up to 21 days of battery life. All smart home appliances and the Smart Band 11 Active will be available nationwide starting 9 September 2026 across official online and retail channels.
In the smart home category, Xiaomi debuted five new AIoT appliances designed for modern living. The Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer Pro 12.5kg features an all-in-one capacity with Dual Auto Dosing, high-temperature steam hygiene, and a 525mm drum. For smaller spaces, the Mijia Front Load Washer 8kg offers a compact 421mm depth with over 28 wash programs. The Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 Plus, engineered for large spaces up to 91m² with a dual-impeller system and 5-stage composite filtration.The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum 6 Max improves floor cleaning, boasting 35,000Pa suction power, a 360° retractable LiDAR system, and an all-in-one self-cleaning dock. Finally, the Xiaomi Smart Double Stack Air Fryer 12L introduces a space-saving vertical dual-basket design capable of cooking four dishes simultaneously with 2800W power output.
Open sales for the REDMI Note 17 Series run from 5 to 30 September 2026, accompanied by a special "REDMI Boss for a Day" launch event featuring brand ambassador Meerqeen on 5 September at Xiaomi Store The Exchange TRX.
