IOI Malls Celebrate Hari Raya with “Meriah Aidilfitri” Across Four Locations

IOI Malls invite families and shoppers to the vibrant spirit of Hari Raya through Meriah Aidilfitri, a celebration that blends culture, artistry and community experiences across four locations: IOI City Mall Putrajaya, IOI Mall Puchong, IOI Mall Damansara and IOI Mall Kulai.

Running until 5 April 2026, the campaign transforms the malls into festive cultural spaces featuring traditional performances, creative workshops, immersive installations and exclusive shopper rewards.

Reimagining Raya Through Contemporary Batik Art

This year’s celebration is a special artistic collaboration with Malaysia batik artist Farah Mohan, founder of Novak Batik.

Recognised for her modern interpretation of classical batik, Farah’s work combines expressive brushwork, layered textures and refined colour palettes that bring a contemporary dimension to traditional motifs. Inspired by Malaysia’s lush flora and fauna, iconic Raya symbols and nostalgic kampung scenes, her designs are translated into immersive installations across the malls. Enlarged batik patterns, abstract silhouettes and interactive decorative elements invite visitors to explore and appreciate the artistry woven throughout the festive décor.

“Meriah Aidilfitri captures the warmth, joy and togetherness of Raya. Our collaboration with Farah Mohan allows us to celebrate tradition while supporting local artistry and presenting a contemporary interpretation of Malaysia’s cultural identity,” said Chris Chong, Chief Operating Officer of Property Investment (Malaysia) at IOI Properties Group.
