A Refined Italian Dining Experience at Tosca, DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur


At DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, an evening at Tosca brought Italian dining into focus through a refined multi-course authentic experience that felt both thoughtful and approachable.

Set by the pool, the atmosphere was relaxed yet polished, shaped by Hilton’s warm and intuitive hospitality. Instead of a formal structure, the evening unfolded naturally, with each course introduced through light storytelling that helped guests better understand the flavours and pairings.




The menu drew from Italy’s Veneto region, tracing a journey from the Dolomites to the Adriatic Sea. It began with crisp Northern and Roman-style pizzas that highlighted simple ingredients and careful technique of heritage and craft. The mains were paired with artisanal wines each selected to complement rather than overpower the dishes.

Leading the experience was Michael Sator, origin from Jesolo whose background near Venice and training at the Scuola Italiana Pizzaioli grounded the menu in tradition.



A highlight of the evening was the interactive Aperitivo Ritual, “Craft Your Own Spritz,” where guests created their own drinks from a range of classic, citrus and floral profiles. It added a social and engaging element to the night.


Overall, the experience focused on authenticity, simplicity and connection, showing that good Italian dining is best enjoyed when it’s shared and understood, not overcomplicated.
