LEGO MY Play Festival Transforms Suria KLCC and KLCC Park for Malaysia’s Biggest LEGO Celebration

The LEGO MY Play Festival was held from May 21 to June 7, 2026, at the Suria KLCC. This festival marked the largest LEGO celebration in Malaysia to date. During the event, families had the opportunity to engage in interactive play zones alongside with impressive installations and participate in Southeast Asia’s inaugural Suria KLCC x LEGO “Play Run 2026.”

The festival embodies LEGO's commitment to hands-on play, moving beyond digital screens. Suria KLCC enhances the event with its annual mental and physical well-being initiative, merging high-energy activities with community support, promoting both active play and mental health. Nina Patricia Da Costa, General Manager of LEGO Group APAC, emphasizes the festival's aim to reconnect families through real-world experiences. “This festival showcases how hands-on discovery with LEGO fosters creativity and meaningful connections,” she states.

Spanning multiple locations, the festival features large-scale interactive zones inspired by iconic city sights with LEGO replica of Kuala Lumpur's Petronas Twin Towers, LEGO food stalls that reflect pasar malam culture including a 3D LEGO model of teh tarik vendor in the act of pouring, sirap bandung stall and 3D LEGO representation of a durian seller.

The Centre Court offers four immersive experiences:

• LEGO Friends Experience: A vibrant play zone with a life-sized slide and a ball pit.

• LEGO Ninjago Experience: A life-sized monastery with interactive battles.

• LEGO Creator Experience: A colorful carnival with a rotating Ferris wheel.

• LEGO City Experience: A bustling pizza factory where kids can craft their own creations.

Additionally, the Centre Court features a LEGO Minifigure Converter zone for personalized digital keepsakes.

Football fans dove into a stadium-inspired LEGO Football Play Arena which featured immersive activities such as Human Foosball and a Make & Take LEGO Trophy. Inspired by the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ the outdoor experience blended sports with LEGO creativity.

On June 6, families participated in the Suria KLCC x LEGO “Play Run 2026,” a 2KM run filled with playful obstacles and interactive storytelling. Runners received exclusive LEGO-themed kits equipped with various sorts of LEGO-themed goodie such as a T-shirt, a drawstring bag, a water bottle, a sports towel and a one-of-a-kind Suria KLCC x LEGO “Play Run 2026” Finisher medal.

The Esplanade at KLCC Park acts as a vibrant activation space aimed at providing a comprehensive event experience. In collaboration with Suria KLCC tenants, the park features interactive installations and engaging activities suitable for all age groups.
