Malaysia’s leading fixed-price everyday essentials retailer, Eco-Shop Malaysia Berhad, has officially announced the launch of its nationwide 23rd-anniversary campaign, taking place from 5 October to 29 November 2026. Organised in strategic partnership with global payment services provider Visa as the official payment partner, the two-month celebration is anchored by an extensive reward initiative titled the Buy & Win contest, designed to express gratitude to the millions of customers. With a overall prize pool valued at RM250,000, the anniversary campaign reflects Eco-Shop’s belief on affordable and accessible products to Malaysians. Commenting on the milestone, Ms Jessica Ng, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Eco-Shop Malaysia Berhad, emphasised that the decision to reward customer loyalty directly aligns with the company's aim on ensuring that daily necessities remain within reach for all Malaysians, regardless of their socioeconomic background or geographic location. To participate in the high-value Buy & Win contest, shoppers must make a minimum purchase of RM35 in a single receipt across any Eco-Shop physical store nationwide using a valid Visa card. Standard customers utilizing Visa as their payment method will automatically receive one entry per qualifying transaction. Demonstrating the brand's emphasis on customer retention and member value, registered Eco-Shop members who complete the same qualifying transaction using Visa will be granted double entry rights, receiving two entries per purchase to double their chances of winning. The campaign's prize lineup features premium rewards intended to make a significant impact on the lives of the selected winners. A total of 19 major prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the campaign, featuring a grand prize of a brand-new Proton X70 1.5TD Premium SUV. Additional major prizes include three units of the Honda RS150R motorcycle and 15 units of the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 smartphones. Furthermore, every customer who meets the RM35 minimum spend criteria using Visa will be eligible to claim an exclusive Gift with Purchase (GWP) item on the spot at any Eco-Shop outlet nationwide, subject to stock availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • JYY Group Builds Global Identity for Malaysian Trigona Honey at Inaugural 2026 Scientific Symposium

JYY Group hosted the 2026 Malaysian Trigona Honey Scientific Symposium to advance the scientific validation, quality standardization, and global commercialization of Malaysian stingless bee honey. Officiated by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security YB Datuk Chan Foong Hin and Director-General of the Department of Agriculture Dato’ Nor Sam, the event convened government officials, industry leaders, and academic researchers to build a dedicated ecosystem for native agricultural exports. During the event, JYY Group signed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) with Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). The partnership aims to deepen research into sustainable beekeeping, neuroscience, and antimicrobial properties. Phase-two laboratory findings presented by UTAR demonstrated that the JYNNS Trigona Propolis Mouth Spray achieved up to 99.9999% antibacterial activity against major pathogens—including E. coli and Salmonella—outperforming several international benchmarks. To support commercial reach, JYY Group also inked a strategic retail agreement with Watsons Malaysia, making the pharmacy chain the first retail partner to carry the full JYNNS Trigona product series. By combining Sarawak-sourced ingredients certified under Malaysian Good Agricultural Practices (myGAP) with expanded retail distribution, JYY Group seeks to position Malaysian Trigona Honey as an internationally recognized wellness resource alongside global standards like New Zealand's Manuka honey.
