MY WARISAN: LAKSA…MANA FESTIVAL GALORE 2025 invites Malaysians to embark on a flavorful journey celebrating the nation’s most beloved culinary treasure, Laksa. Organized by OHSOM TV on the 22 & 23 November 2025 at Main Atrium (Level 1), KLGCC Mall. This two-day festival is a vibrant celebration of Malaysia’s rich multicultural identity, where diverse laksa traditions unite communities through taste, stories and heritage.

 

The MY WARISAN: LAKSA…MANA FESTIVAL GALORE 2025 aims to:

·       Celebrate Malaysia’s Diverse Laksa Traditions — Honoring the rich tapestry of Malaysian cuisine by showcasing the unique flavors, ingredients and stories behind laksa from different states.

·       Educate on the Laksa Journey — Providing insights into the origins, authenticity and traditional preparation methods of laksa, fostering a deeper appreciation of Malaysia’s culinary history.

·       Empower Youth and Communities through Culinary Skills — Offering demonstrations to inspire young talents and local communities to preserve, promote and innovate traditional culinary arts.


Aligned with the MADANI values, UNESCO’s spirit of cultural preservation, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the festival highlights food as a vehicle for sustainability, community empowerment and cultural continuity.

·       Selangor Delicacies; Punten with Sambal Ijo & Tat Bengkulu

 

Each dish are accompanied by cooking displays, traditional ingredient presentations and sampling sessions for visitors to experience authentic tastes and textures.

Daily chef-led demonstrations and storytelling sessions by Malaysia’s most celebrated culinary icons:

·       Chef Dato’ Ismail Ahmad
